Lemon as a Natural Deodorant

Listen to this article

How many times have you used a deodorant and still had smelly pits?

Most deodorants contain an excessive amount of toxic ingredients such as parabens, tricolosm, propylene glycol, aluminum, phthalates and much more. Regular deodorants only mask the smell instead of breaking down to the root cause.

Lemon disinfects the odor of smelly pits. Simply cut up a piece of lemon and squeeze the juice into your armpits. The antibacterial and anti-fungal properties in the lemon juice will control the excessive growth of microbes that live on the skin and feed on the sweat.

How to apply lemon to keep body odor away

Follow this simple procedure when using lemon as a remedy for body odor.

1. Cut a fresh lemon up into pieces, refrigerate the rest in a zip lock bag.

2. Squeeze out the juice from the lemon.

3. Dip a cotton cloth in the juice and rub it on your underarms and other odorous areas of the body.

4. Let the juice dry on its own.

5. Take a shower and repeat the routine twice a day.
